For this review, we have another full spectrum CBD oil from a newly discovered manufacturer, CBD Emporium, who appears to be on the ball and rolling in the right direction when it comes to promoting and marketing CBD products. But before we dive fully into this new CBD oil product, a quick overview of how we score the products we test…
Table of Contents
Our Scoring Algorithm
To meet with our intention of providing a fair and realistic scoring system, we broke down our scoring into the following four categories:
- Potency – finding the amount of CBD content present within a product can be scientifically achieved, which is precisely what we do by hiring an outside professional third part to verify the content of the product we are evaluating
- Effects – our testers also shared their own experience about how the product works when they try it
- Taste – finding products which not only deliver physical and mental relief but also taste good is a major plus in our testing process
- Packaging – the care and attention paid to the package in which the product is contained should also reflect its quality
Of these four factor, three of them (effects, taste, and packaging) are clearly subjective opinions of our testers. Do keep in mind that these are not just your average Janes and Joes off the street, but individuals with extensive experience and backgrounds in using CBD products and getting the best out of them. Nevertheless, as professional as they are, we do ask their opinions to score those three factors.
Because the potency factor depends upon outside professional analysis, this is the one objective factor being measured. Due to this important difference, we give greater weight to potency as measured by outside professionals. For this aspect of our algorithm, a 20% variance of the expected CBD content is allowed, but if the differential exceeds 10% of the product claim, we start knocking points off its default 10-point score.
Of those four factors, only the potency factor gets a boost, being multiplied by 5. The remaining categories are each given a weight of 1, which equates to a weighted 8-point system (note that more than half of the weighting leans towards our lab test results).

With that explanation now behind us, we’re excited to share our review of CBD Emporium Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg) with you. As always, we’ll begin with a closer look at their website and how they present themselves to the world.
CBD Emporium
Over the course of our many reviews, we have come across all types of websites, even finding a couple of products (Good Things Coming Edible and Pro Naturals CBD Tincture) who couldn’t even get it together enough to create a website!
In comparison, the CBD Emporium website is a breath of fresh air, filled to the brim with good, clear information. And with over a dozen retail outlets in Arizona, one in Nevada, and more scheduled to pop up in California, New Mexico, and Colorado, they are covering both the online and brick-and-mortar fronts quite well.
A visit to their About Us page presented their vision and core values to which we heartily agree. Their vision was simple: a meeting of the minds and hearts of two Arizonan entrepreneurs with a driving passion to improve the lives of others through better living practices. Seeing the growing enthusiasm and demand for CBD in its various forms (oils, tinctures, edibles, balms, etc.), it was a no-brainer on which direction they should take which would change the lives of their fellow Americans (and citizens of the world, for that matter) for the better.
While we usually reiterate a company’s core values in our own words and terms, in this instance we could not help but grab their core value statement verbatim because we simply cannot state it any better than this:
- Practice exactly what we preach under the safest of conditions
- Affirm each other’s strengths and protect his/her weaknesses
- Treat others the way you desire to be treated
- Extend grace to those who are teachable
- Seek first to understand others before trying to be understood
- Choose relationships over profits
- Think outside the box – always question status quo
These core values should apply to individuals as well as businesses, so we applaud their generous and giving vision of inclusion. While heartwarming values and morals are always appreciated, the real burning question we always have is: What about your products?
Their answer to that fiery query warmed our hearts even further as we viewed what is truly an emporium of CBD products, including carefully selected CBD products from other manufacturers. Their collections, as they like to call it, consist of six categories:
- Bath and Body – for all things body and cleansing, including balms, creams, bath bombs, roll-ons, and even mouthwash and toothpaste
- Capsules – different bottles of pure CBD in capsule form comes in various dosages and capsule counts
- Edibles – anything you can put down the hatch, including gummies, elixirs, coffee sachets, crystals, and even CBD-enhanced drinking water
- Pets – dogs, cats, and even horses can find treatments for relief here
- Tinctures – both flavored and unflavored tinctures can be had at various dosages and bottle sizes
- Vapes – those who enjoy vaping their medicines will delight in the broad choice of flavors and cartridge sizes on offer
They also have a “Featured Products” collection made of their own curated selection of products, and thoughtfully offer gift cards.
From our perspective, we were highly impressed with their organization, presentation, and layout of a fully-populated website.
Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg)
Curious to see how to present individual products, we headed straight over to the Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg) product page. Consistent with what we saw in other areas of the website, we found good solid facts about this product, enabling the viewer to make an informed decision.
Their CBD Oil comes in the following strengths and bottle sizes:
- 750 mg, 1-ounce bottle
- 1,500 mg, 1-ounce bottle
- 3,000 mg, 2-ounce bottle
- 6,000 mg, 4-ounce bottle
Each bottle includes a 1-ml dropper, with four evenly separated markings for pinpoint-accurate measuring of desired dosages.
Thanks to our choosing the unflavored version of their CBD oil, there are just two simple and important ingredients in each bottle:
- Full Spectrum CBD Oil
- Organic MCT Fractionated Coconut Oil
From our perspective, you cannot get any purer than this list!
A final list of benefits convinced us we were on track to testing perhaps one of the best products to pass our inspection:
- All Natural
- Gluten Free
- GMO Free
- Lab Tested
- USA Grown Hemp
- Vegan
Yep, we were sold and anxious to start our test in full earnest!
The CBD Informative Testing and Rating
Admittedly, CBD Emporium put us into a great mindset and attitude just by browsing their website, learning about them, their products, and mission, and a closer look at the CBD Oil we were ready to put to the test.
Our first step, as always, was to send the product over to Level One Labs, Arizona’s top-rated cannabis testing lab, to obtain a professional third-party analysis. As mentioned in our explanation of our scoring algorithm, we are looking for this product to stay within a 10% range of the stated CBD content, since any variance above 10% costs valuable points in the most weighted and important scoring factor, potency.
Third Party Test Results
Simply stated, the results from the Certificate of Analysis from Level One Labs blew us away.
For the 1,500 mg CBD content claimed on the bottle, our COA showed a CBD count of 1493.017 mg and THC count of 47.94 mg, leaving a miniscule 2.73% variance off the 1500 mg full spectrum CBD shown on the label! Everyone agreed that with such accuracy, CBD Emporium has no need to produce their own COA reports (although we did appreciate that feature with Ananda Hemp’s CBD Hemp Extract Full Spectrum Tincture Oil).
This also kept their score for potency at its maximum 10 out of 10, but more significantly, it had our testers even more excited and ready to put this CBD oil to their own personal tests.

CBD Informative Assessment
Here is our take on our introduction to CBD Emporium…
The Manufacturer – CBD Emporium
We are first and foremost impressed at the fast and solid growth this company has shown in such a short time. We also like that they take their name, CBD Emporium, to heart, not only promoting their own outstanding line of CBD products but acting like a real emporium and also offering quality CBD products from other manufacturers which they have found, tested, and added to their inventory. They also proudly boast of their old-school approach to marketing and customer care, which we believe is an effective marketing ploy which would appeal well to a large segment of their demographics: those well-heeled baby boomers.
As always, we remain particular and critical of packaging, but once more CBD Emporium made a solid showing. We loved the sleek and slick look of the bottle and that they smartly used darker bottles which both protected the CBD oil and let you get a good gauge as to the remaining content. We’re not sure if this was deliberately designed or was a nice coincidence, but everyone noticed and commented on how the bottle colored contrasted so well with the labeling that the logo seems to jump right out.
Whether that was good luck or savvy artistry, we loved it so much they earned an excellent 9.85 out of 10 for their packaging efforts! (Tip to CBD Emporium: All that is needed to earn a perfect 10 out of 10 is sleeker outside packaging to hold the bottle and make it pop out even more.)
The Product – Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg)
Finally, our testing team was ready to experience the full spectrum CBD oil directly and report their findings. Everything so far has looked good but so many others have also reached this point only to stumble a bit on the final stages. However, unless this full spectrum CBD oil is completely ineffective, our team had an innate sense this product was going to come out as one of our top finishers in our scoring system.
CBD Emporium labels this CBD oil unflavored (they also offer some flavored oils, both their own products and other brands they carry), but our testers noticed a slight natural flavor appearing right at the finish. This is also the first time our testers have tried a flavorless oil and there was general agreement that, although intense flavors are not enjoyable, perhaps a hint of some kind of flavor might have added something. However, this was such a minor issue, and as the product claimed to be flavorless, there was just the tiniest ding for that tiny natural taste, bringing the taste score to 9.6 out of 10.
Finally, about the effects: fantastic! To a one, every tester agreed that the results and relief they each individually sought for their own aches and discomforts were noticeable and effective. There was no doubt or hesitation to grant this product a solid 10 out of 10 for equally solid effects!
The CBD Informative Overall Rating for CBD Emporium Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg) – 9.93
Let’s hear a drumroll and round of applause for CBD Emporium for taking the number one position on our reviewed product list with their Full Spectrum CBD Oil (Unflavored, 1500 Mg)! While this product has surpassed DrBurns’ ReLeaf™ CBD Pure PAIN Tincture and Populum Full Spectrum Hemp CBD Oil (our previous number 1 and 2 spot holders), we find it interesting that our three top recommended CBD products provide our users with relief through oils and tinctures.
It also goes without saying that you can expect more reviews of other CBD Emporium products, because when we come across a winning product, we’re dying to know how their other products fare through our rigorous testing program. (Another recently-reviewed company, Hemptotally, has already earned reviews on two of their products, their THC-Free Organic CBD Balm and Vegan CBD Gummies. As both earned similar scores, 9.52 and 9.74 respectively, we hope to see a similar high-ranking consistency with the CBD Emporium products!)
