We love a mystery as much as the other person, so as our testers kept stumbling across Good Things Coming products in various Arizona dispensaries, we knew sooner or later there would be a call for a review. You know us: we are way more into “sooner” than “later,” so now is the time to give their 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly (10 mg:10/mg) product a closer look. However, our innocent decision to investigate this CBD manufacturer quickly turned into a mystery: not a whodunit, more like a who-and-where-are-they puzzler.
Good Things Coming
Since this product initially caught our attention in brick-and-mortar dispensary settings, we figured it would be easy to just google “Good Things Coming AZ” and check out their website. Surprisingly, no website appeared in the 900,000,000 search results that Google coughed up faster than a cat’s hairball, though we did stumble across:
- A very inactive Facebook page
- A reasonably active Instagram account (over 2,000 followers and 150 posts)
- A graphic designer showcasing work created for Good Things Coming
Finding our quest for the people behind the Good Things Coming products to hit a fast and hard dead end, we were left with just one clue: their Good Things Coming 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jellies.
Feeling like a shabby 2020 version of 1930 Sam Spade knock-off detectives, who valued the dope more than the dames, our team took a good hard look at each other, passed around serious nods, muttered “Harumph” under our breaths, and agreed that the one clue we had, that enticing pack of fruit jellies, was enough to crack this case.
So for now, we shall leave the unmasking of the makers of Good Things Coming for another episode… or perhaps discover it will be impossible to ever reveal their true identities!
1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly (10 mg:10 mg)
Our examination of the Good Things Coming got off to a better start. We at least got a toehold on some information through Leafly, which described the product as “Made with real fruit and cannabis derived CBD” and sported an image of their fruit jellies spread about with real cherries sprinkled among the edibles. Kind of classy, but eye candy wasn’t going to tell us what was inside these goodies.
Fortunately, the goodies themselves sang like canaries, by giving us their ingredients list:
- Cannabis Distillate – the reason for this entire investigation (plus the perfect way to medicate the consumer)
- Cherry Puree – the best way to capture the rich and fresh flavor of cherries
- Sugar Glucose – the same as the table sugar you use in cooking and your beverages
- Yellow Pectin – the gelling agent used to create the jelly texture
- Citric Acid – a natural preservative which adds a slight acidic tang to flavors
- Vegetable Glycerin – the perfect agent to help the jelly and cannabis distillate tango together (i.e., blend well)
Our team huddled together and conferred over our initial findings. Our verdict was unanimous: based upon the delectable look of these jellies, combined with the revelation of clean ingredients from top to bottom, this mystery was worth further pursuit.
So on we pursued…
The CBD Informative Testing and Rating
Recalling the last time we reviewed an “unknown” maker/distributor of a CBD product (the notoriously vague “Pro Naturals CBD Tincture” who came in smelling like a rank amateur and left like a stinking bum), we knew it would be anything goes with this product.
Fortunately, unlike those old dime-store detective tales, our scientific support wasn’t some obese, chain-smoking coroner named “Doc” but our always-professional, ever-reliable Level One Labs in Arizona, a proven team of third-party analysts ever ready to deliver clear, expert, unbiased analysis.
Third Party Test Results
Our testing team adheres to a 10% deviation standard, seeking confirmation from our independent labs that the product we sent them (and will be testing next) shows CBD and THC content no more than 10% higher or lower than what is printed on the label. For this report, we needed to compare both THC and CBD content, which, according to the labeling, should be 10 mg each of both ingredients. Results from the Level One Certificate of Analysis were impressive, showing the following outcomes:
- THC – mg per unit, a mere 0.025 below its mark
- CBD – 11.45 mg per unit, just 14.5% above its claim
(We also wish to note that, as in our previous review of DrBurns Releaf™ CBD Lozenge, where the CBD results were much higher than 10%, this deviation of a higher CBD content combined with a lower THC content perfectly lines up with the fact that the longer a product remains on the shelf, CBD content can increase while THC content will decrease. This may or not be the reason for the above deviation.)
In this first, important stage of getting the approving opinion of our “Doc” (who thankfully does not wheeze between each puff on his cigarette and actually knows how to perform a true unbiased scientific analysis!), the Good Things Coming 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly earned a 10 out of 10 quality rating for independent lab testing.
Our sleuths found this report encouraging which inspired them to meet the product face-to-face … actually, mouth-to-jelly is more accurate. But you get our drift.

CBD Informative Assessment
Knowing the ingredients and receiving a thumbs up from “Doc,” our team rubbed their collective palms in anticipation of this investigative phase!
The Manufacturer – Good Things Coming
Our mystery manufacturer spent little or no time in their design efforts, offering a plain white package with a clear window through which you can peak at the jellies. Our packages appeared somewhat temperature-affected, which further decreased their aesthetic appeal. This seemingly indifferent attitude towards their packaging earned them a 7.2 out of 10 for packaging. Maybe this is why our mystery maker is hiding from the public eye … purely from artistic embarrassment and shame!
The Product – 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly
Enthusiasm was high (pun, if you want) among our team, as they especially appreciate the combination which THC and CBD bring to the table. In fact, the team agreed to up their ante, double it actually, as everyone went for two jellies apiece. Definitely a good decision with excellent results, earning it top marks in the effects department at 10 out of 10!
Our testers know how dominant a flavor cherry can be, so finding one as great tasting as these jellies was a pleasant surprise. On the other hand, while not overpowering, we found the flavor milder than we expected. Either the gelatin candy form or the extra sugar coating on the outside may have slightly absorbed some of the flavoring. While a good flavor, in comparison with some of our other reviewed products, such as Cannabis Confection Pucks, this taste paled slightly in comparison, resulting in an 8 out of 10 taste rating.
The CBD Informative Overall Rating for Good Things Coming 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly – 9.4
We are pleased to “close the case on this one” with a positive conclusion. While we are all still pondering who may be behind the making of this line of CBD/THC products, we applaud the results of their efforts, and therefore unhesitatingly recommend the 1:1 CBD/THC Very Cherry Fruit Jelly strongly for any consumers seeking the invigorating and balancing effects of this one-for-one power combo, earning them a solid 9.4 overall rating.
