CBD derived from the Hemp plant has started gaining a lot of popularity now that the 2018 Farm Bill passed legalizing hemp. This has now legalized the sale and distribution of CBD nationwide! If you have been to your local market, or visited your corner drug store you have most likely ran into CBD products. This industry is very new, but is also quickly growing and will not be going anywhere anytime soon!

1. CBD Reduces Stress and Anxiety
CBD has been testing the reduction of stress and anxiety levels in a persons day to day life with a normal does of CBD in the morning and in the evening. CBD has effects on serotonin levels in the brain as well as other molecules associated with regulating moods and generally feeling good.

2. CBD Helps with Pain and Inflammation
Recent studies have shown links between regular CBD use and reduced inflammation. Additionally CBD has proven to be an effective measure for combating chronic pain, especially when used in combination with THC.

3. CBD Helps Treat Sleep Disorders
The effects of CBD on quality and quantity of sleep are still being studied but we do know that it effects sleep. CBD is credited with helping to regulate our daily wake/sleep schedules which is one of the reasons it helps combat insomnia and sleep anxiety.

4. CDB Helps Prevent Seizures
While this is under study still we know that CBD is an effective combatant against seizures for epilepsy patients. Studies have shown that CBD is fantastic at regulating many different functions in the body, and this is why scientists believe cannabinoids like CBD are so effective medicinally.
5. CDB Reduces Risk of Cancers
CBD is in early stages of testing for its preventative effects in regards to cancer but the findings so far are fascinating. A single trial in Spain found that CBD was effective in directly treating cancerous cells, however this has not been recreated and without more studies a conclusive result cannot be drawn. CBD is being studied for its preventative effects in regards to cancer and while there is no conclusive evidence yet, the CBD community is excited for the results!
